The TAB-DROID-BT Android tablet HART communicator kit is a complete, handheld solution for HART communication in the field. It combines a Samsung Tab A tablet, the DevComDroid Smart Device Communicator App, and the HM-BT-BAT-ER Bluetooth HART modem to offer a reliable, user-friendly interface for commissioning, calibrating, and troubleshooting HART field devices. All components are pre-installed, configured, and housed in a rugged carrying case for durability and portability.
The Samsung Tab A features an 8-inch HD multi-touch screen, Android 11 operating system, 2 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of internal storage. It supports Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n), with a 5000 mAh battery and front and rear cameras. The DevComDroid app comes with a complete HART DD Library, a generic DD, and a one-year subscription for quarterly updates. The HM-BT-BAT-ER modem supports HART versions 4 through 7 and wirelessHART, with a Bluetooth range of 30 feet. A 250 Ohm loop resistor and hard-shell carrying case (17" L x 12" W x 3.5" H) are also included. All hardware and software are fully installed and tested prior to shipment, allowing technicians to begin using the communicator kit immediately out of the box.
