The Optris CT P7 infrared sensor is designed for the temperature measurement of thin plastic films, such as polyurethane, polyether sulfone, polyethylene terephthalate, Teflon, or cellulose triacetate. It has a temperature range of 32 to 1310°F and can function in temperatures up to 185°F without additional cooling. The Optris CT P7 includes D06ACCTMHS massive housing to stabilize measurements in applications with significant and short-term variations in ambient temperatures.
Selectable analog outputs and multiple digital interfaces offer high variability. Field selectable analog outputs options include 0/4-20mA, 0-5 and 0-10 V, type K or J thermocouples, and alarm. The Optris CT P7 includes a programmable functional input for setting external emissivity, ambient temperature compensation and reset of hold functions. It also features peak hold, valley hold, average, and an extended hold function with threshold and hysteresis. Optional USB, RS485, RS232 interface, 2 optically isolated relay outputs, CAN-Bus, Profibus DP, and Ethernet available with plug-in options.
The Optris Compact Connect temperature analysis software is available as a free download and is necessary to document and analyze temperature measurement data. It is compatible with all netbooks, notebooks, and PC systems via Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and 8.
