Michell Instruments S000-100 冷镜湿度计可直接测量镜面上凝结的形成情况，提供 -148 至 68°F（-100 至 20°C）的宽测量范围。S000-100 使用先进的双光学系统，可检测镜面上凝结的水分的细微变化。即使在测量最困难的极低湿度水平下，也能实现极高的灵敏度和对霜点变化的快速响应。

S8000-100 提供一系列 Modbus 数字通信和模拟输出，允许对其进行远程监控或通过 S8000-100 记录软件进行监控。高对比度触摸屏 LCD 显示屏可完全自定义本地显示测量值，以及趋势图和故障警告。后面板提供 4 线 PT100 连接，用于远程镜面温度监控。由于系统采用全自动控制，因此无需操作员干预。

在低至 -40°F 的温度下，水分可能以液态形式存在，水和冰之间的冷凝温度差异可能是读数的 10%。S8000-100 采用两种方法来确保测量水冷凝相（无论是露水还是霜）的可信度。第一种方法是霜冻保证 (FAST)，它确定样品的露点是否处于过冷水可能存在的温度区域，如果是，则将镜子降至 -40°F 以下，以确保镜子表面有冰。第二种方法是所有 S8000-100 型号的标准观察显微镜。显微镜使用户能够在测量过程中直接检查镜子并确定冷凝状态。

S8000-100 采用称为 DCC（动态污染校正）的系统。 DCC 系统是自动化的，通过保证均匀的冷凝层，调整仪器控制以始终实现最佳测量性能。这确保了高度可重复的测量性能。DCC 系统是全自动的，但用户可以针对单个应用进行配置。
