The Panametrics HygroPro XP Moisture Transmitter is a compactly designed unit that can measure moisture content of gasses and non-aqueous liquids in the most demanding hazardous area applications. The HygroPro XP features an LED backlit display with an easy to navigate six button keypad in an explosion proof housing. This all-in-one display head allows for streamlined interaction with the software to configure probe measurements and analyze analog and digital output with ease. The HygroPro XP also comes with multi-drop networking capability via a digital HART interface that allows multiple units to be connected via a single network.
The glass-to-metal seal in the HygroPro XP meets ANSL/UL 122701 single seal standards, ensuring the probe electronics remain insulated from the process. The HygroPro XP features a replaceable transducer element which contains the moisture sensor, thermistor and optional pressure transducer. The calibration data for these sensors is stored in a non-volatile EEPROM, thus removing the need to manually enter calibration data when exchanging the element during maintenance.
Pairing the state-of-the-art aluminum oxide moisture sensor with the inbuilt thermistor and optional pressure transducer for real time recording of temperature and pressure creates the opportunity to calculate other parameters such as ppmv in gasses, ppmw in liquids, pounds per million standard cubic feet in natural gas and more. The HygroPro XP is a compact, all-in-one design that delivers extensive, high accuracy data through a user friendly interface.
