E+E EE260 探头经过优化，可在气象学和苛刻的户外应用中实现准确可靠的相对湿度 (RH) 和温度 (T) 测量。EE260 的设计将加热湿度传感头和附加 T 传感元件集成到一个紧凑型探头中。因此，该设备与旋转对称辐射屏蔽兼容。双加热系统可防止 RH 传感元件、探头头和过滤盖上出现冷凝，从而缩短响应时间，并在冷凝后快速恢复。此外，即使在持续高湿度和冷凝条件下，它也能实现精确的 RH 测量。

除了测量 RH 和 T 之外，EE260 还能计算其他湿度相关量，如露点温度 (Td)、绝对湿度 (dv) 和混合比 (r)。
