M-60X 防爆流量開關可監控流量的增加和減少。能夠監測水的低流量範圍為 750 至 1,600 ml/min，空氣的低流量範圍為 25,000 至 55,000 scc/min。它利用單一移動部件來響應系統內的流體（液體或氣體）流動。這種防爆流量開關旨在監測製程控制和惰性氣體中儀表的重要樣品流量參數。觸發時，固定設定點模型將在所需設定點的 10% 範圍內，而所有模型均提供 5% 的重複性。此開關適用於工業、生物醫學和 OEM 產品的廣泛應用。流量監視器僅在流體流量絕對確定時才運作。 M-60X 防爆流量開關可選擇標準的預校準設定點範圍，以便立即使用和分發。這些開關採用 SPDT 配置，並通過 UL 認證、ATEX 和 IECEX 認證。

其工作原理基於自由浮動的磁性活塞，該活塞僅響應管線內流體的運動，而不響應靜態或系統壓力。在有流體流動的情況下，活塞的受控運動會驅動外部密封簧片開關，從而打開或關閉所需的訊號電路。此訊號可用於啟動聲音或視覺警報以及繼電器或其他控制裝置。活塞行程短，確保低延遲。流過的壓力降變化範圍為 0.035 至 2 psi（空氣和液體的最大流量）。通用安裝裝置配備有復位活塞的彈簧。彈簧使用穿孔盤固定到位。
